This might be a gross fact, but did you know that pet waste represents about 2 billion dollars worth of fertilizer in the US? Unfortunately, most of this waste is picked up and discarded with single-use plastic bags that are harmful to the environment. In fact, these plastics can take over 500 years to degrade, if they ever do.
