My review on this will be pretty useless as I haven't used it yet. I needed something as plain as possible to spot-clean (like I'm talking about a sofa :laughing:) my cats if they get into things.. as they do.

The only helpful info I can offer is that none of the 3 in my house reared back from the scent, so there you go.

I use this on my Sphynx cat and it works wonderfully! I know it's got safe ingredients and nothing artificial, so that makes me feel good about using it on his delicate skin. He is clean and smells great after his baths!

my dog stays so fluffy and clean smelling with this even though it's unscented. It must just do a good job getting all the dirt off. We used another brand's natural liquid dog shampoo but my husband was irritated by some kind of oil in it while our dog was wet. With this he's completely fine. Pup also seems squeaky clean but she's not itching or anything to indicate it's drying her skin at all. I'd say her coat even looks healthier.

I have a Great Pyrenees that has outdoor /pollen allergies AND food allergies so he’s a sensitive guy. On top of that, he hates bath time. I used to use a liquid shampoo from the pet store and after a bath soooooo much hair would fall out. I saw this bar soap and thought I would try it, thinking I wouldn’t have to stop and keep reapplying more liquid shampoo since he’s such a big guy. This bar shampoo is the BEST, I’m not going to use anything else on my dogs! It reduced the amount of hair loss dramatically and the ease of use is so much better! My only suggestion is for a “full size” bar for large dogs!

My 7 pound dog has sensitive skin and very fine hair (not fur). Tried lots, and lots of products. This is the very Best. Rich lather. Rinses thoroughly. Hair is silky. My dog is no longer itchy. Highly Recommend.

The bar form is easier for me to wash my big dog with than liquid shampoo in a bottle. Afterwards, my dog’s black coat shines, and she has a light, clean smell without any unnatural fragrance.

It seems to work great for my dogs and I love that it is good for them too! The scent doesn't really last after the bath but I don't mind as long as it gets rid of the stink which it does!

My poor kitty is partially incontinent from an injury, and gets more baths than she's ever wanted. This is way easier than trying to manage a shampoo bottle as well as a cat that wants to escape. It does the job and makes her fur so shiny afterwards!

Soap smells great, is moisturizing & cleansing. Great for pets & us humans.

My mom has a schnauzer/dachshund mix and this winter we took her to get her monthly grooming and all that night she was up itching and her skin twitching and she couldn't sleep. So sad! So I was looking for natural human itchy skin soap and found Chagrin Valley. When I saw the "Pets" tab I decided to try a bar of soap and the RACV rinse, even though it's pricey for me. I'm now a loyal customer! Little Lili dog had to wait a whole week, but after her 1st bath she was itch free and in three days her skin stopped twitching and she smelled great! I like the bar. Seems to use less than liquid soap and lathers wonderfully!

My pups have super sensitive skin. So even though I was using high quality soap I wanted to try and get as basic as possible. I can read the ingredients so that's a win. This soap is small enough to fit in my hands so it makes it so easy to use. I have a feeling it will last awhile.

I bought this for my cats. Most of them don't need baths very often unless they get into something gross. This takes grease and stains right out! It won't make your white cats glow but clean is the objective, not sparkly. I rub it directly on a stain and out it goes. For full body, I get the soap on my hands. The cats come out smelling very faintly of almonds and milk, which fades.

One of my cats has sensitive skin, long cottony hair and isn't real good at grooming himself. A trifecta of terrible. This doesn't irritate his delicate skin and makes it less prone to itching. His fur doesn't feel like synthetic quilt batting anymore and knots a lot less. He also doesn't try to escape-- I think because it doesn't have an obnoxious smell. His white patches don't get bright white but the objective is clean, not showy. Nothing else really got him clean without tearing up his skin and hair.

I use it around my collie's sensitive areas, like around her face. It doesn't work real well with her rough, greasy coat so I don't use it on her body. It's nice having a dog with a clean face!

I purchased a bar at a shop near my home. I have two little dogs I can plop into the kitchen sink and do so often since we live on a farm and they're rolling in anything and everything. This soap was terrific. I loved how sudsy it was and they look and feel squeaky clean. Great product and I'm glad I found it. I like using the bar much better than pouring the soap on.
